"Acid Washed" was created as part of the curriculum at Perpich Center for the Arts High School. It was aimed at starting conversations among people about the difficulties people of color face in the United States every day. It was originally presented inside of a walk-in installation, where the image was projected on the same rain jacket worn by the subject. The space was dark, confining, and forced viewers to confront a topic that they could usually avoid.
